Capacity Building

THRIVE Program

Back to Collaborations

Thriving Non Profits is a cohort program for organizations looking to increase their financial resiliency and deepen their impact.

Building on the success of our 2020 pilot launch, this year Calgary Foundation has doubled the capacity of the Thrive Program to welcome 16 groups including registered charities, and non-profit organizations of all sizes.

The pandemic has impacted us all differently. As a result, we have been forced to think and act differently, to diversify, collaborate, and create in new and innovative ways. This program is a unique opportunity to build rich networks with others in the sector.

Over five months, participants dive into eight online modules/virtual workshops. Thriving Non Profits is designed for up to 3 members of an organization, including Executives, Board, and staff.

You’ll walk away with:

  • Comprehensive insights into diverse revenue streams for non-profits and charities.
  • New thinking, reflection, and organizational shifts to create entrepreneurial approaches to impact.
  • A supportive community of peer organizations innovating, testing, and adopting new strategies.
  • Identified key strategies and an action plan to move your organization towards financial resilience.

We are excited to welcome participants in January, applications are now closed.
